Merry Christmas

...there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can...umm. I think we do this very well around Christmas. All the parties, gifts, singing, sparkling decor. We wear ourselves out being Happy! You either love it or hate it. I enjoy being with family and giving gifts and eating sweets that I avoid all year long...I love the sparkling decor all over town and people wishing strangers "A Merry Christmas". Most of all I love my Saviour who we celebrate and I have been wondering how to keep Him the center of all our celebrations. God celebrated His birth with a heavenly orchestra and wise men honored His birth with sparkling gold, sweet aroma's of frankincense and myrrh and shepherds...well, the shepherds got the best party ever while "watching" and being "still" they not only heard the host of angels but they got to be with our Savior. As we celebrate Christmas, lets all be looking for ways to "be with our Savior". Let's each remember something we would like to offer a "toast" in honor of Him.

Ecclesiastes 3:11-14, “Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.” (NLT)
